A PEMB package arrives as a numbered kit with an erection manual, and the schedule assumes every piece is on site and identified. In practice the shipment is short, the anchor bolts are off, and someone has to solve it without stopping the job.
Platinum erects pre-engineered metal buildings across eastern Massachusetts for warehouse, industrial, storage and agricultural use.
What’s included
- Anchor bolt verification against the manufacturer's drawings
- Unloading, inventory and shortage reporting against the packing list
- Rigid frame, endwall and bracing erection
- Girts, purlins, eave struts and bracing rods
- Roof and wall panel installation, trim and closures
- Doors, windows, louvers, gutters, downspouts and accessories
- Insulation system installation where included

How we approach it
We erect to the manufacturer's manual and record every deviation, which is what protects the warranty and the owner.
Shortages get reported the day the truck is inventoried, not the week the crew hits the gap.
Panel work is weather-dependent and we schedule accordingly rather than fighting a New England wind day on a roof.
Typical applications
- Warehouse and distribution buildings
- Contractor shops, garages and storage buildings
- Manufacturing and light industrial facilities
- Additions and lean-tos on existing metal buildings
What we need from you to bid it
The more of this you can send, the closer the number is to the final one. Missing items are not a blocker; they just become assumptions we write down.
- Manufacturer, building size and the erection drawings if released
- Foundation and anchor bolt plan
- Site access and laydown space
- Whether accessories, insulation and doors are in the erection scope
- Delivery dates and required substantial completion
Associated scopes
On active projects, this work is commonly coordinated with Structural Steel Erection, Metal Deck & Joist Installation, Rigging, Hoisting & Crane Setting. Packaging connected scopes can reduce handoffs, but every proposal identifies exactly what is included.
